    Committee is charged with the responsibility to suggest ways and means to address the following concerns, namely, uniform architectural staff pattern in all State Governments; Sanction of Architects drawings by non-architects in the local bodies/development authorities; Dying Cadre of government architects in various State Governments; Creation of Department of Architecture in all State Governments and in Central Government so that the issues and problems of Architects can be addressed properly; Registration of Architects by local bodies for sanction of drawings/plans online on payment of hefty fees; to prescribe Minimum Standards of Architectural Profession; to request to Central Government for creation of Ministry of Architecture.
    Date of Constitution: 72nd Meeting held on 24th & 25th January, 2020 Progress of work done: First meeting of the Committee held on 17.12.2020. The Second meeting of the Committee was held on 11.06.2021.
